Mike McCandless specializes in the areas of medical malpractice defense and complex litigation, including the defense of product liability, asbestos, and industrial accident cases. He has enjoyed a Martindale-Hubble preeminent rating since 2002.
Mr. McCandless graduated with a B.S. in Political Science from Michigan State University in 1979 and from the University of Detroit Law School in 1982. His diverse background includes work as a legislative/congressional aide in Washington, D.C., as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Oakland County Michigan, and as partner in a large insurance defense firm in Troy, Michigan.
He is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan, and in the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Michigan.
